Port Charlotte visitors are close to Charlotte Harbor, but tarpon fishing is planned around where the fish and conditions are on your date. Capt. Andy’s base is El Jobean. He uses selected pickup locations by arrangement and will confirm the meeting point before your charter. Do not assume that every Port Charlotte dock is an available pickup.
Tarpon can use different parts of the harbor and nearby Gulf waters through the season. Wind, tides and bait can make one approach better than another, so Capt. Andy makes a fresh plan for each trip.

You can choose from six-, eight- and ten-hour charter options, subject to availability. Capt. Andy guides up to four anglers and helps with tackle and the fight. Rods, reels, bait, fishing-license coverage, an onboard cooler and ice are included. Bring food, drinks, polarized sunglasses and clothing for the conditions.
Tarpon can be powerful and unpredictable. The goal is a safe, personal fishing day with clear instruction and a realistic plan, with no promised number of hookups or landings.

Some anglers want the stronger tidal flow around a new or full moon; others have fixed travel dates. Capt. Andy can discuss what your dates may offer and which trip length fits. Pickup is confirmed directly when booking.
Contact Capt. Andy to discuss available dates and reserve your trip. Call or text 941-769-1582 or email captandyboyette@gmail.com. Pickup is available at selected locations by arrangement.
