Tarpon begin appearing in Southwest Florida waters in spring. Early-season fishing may involve fish moving through the back bays and coastal waters, while later trips can center on Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor when that is where the fishing plan leads. Capt. Andy decides the approach from current conditions rather than promising a particular spot.
If you are staying in Fort Myers, contact him before arranging transportation. His base is El Jobean and pickup is limited to selected locations; a Fort Myers pickup is not guaranteed. He will help you understand the meeting point and expected travel plan.

Choose from six-, eight- and ten-hour tarpon options depending on availability. Trips take up to four anglers. The boat carries rods, reels, bait, tackle, fishing-license coverage, ice and a cooler. Bring food, drinks, polarized sunglasses and sun protection.
The thrill of a tarpon is its long run and jump, but wild fish do not follow a schedule. Capt. Andy gives first-time and experienced anglers instruction and a fishing plan suited to the conditions.
Capt. Andy targets tarpon from April through October. Stronger flow around full and new moons can change the presentation in late spring and summer, but good fishing can happen between those tides as well. Call with your dates and he can explain the options.

Contact Capt. Andy to discuss available dates and reserve your trip. Call or text 941-769-1582 or email captandyboyette@gmail.com. Pickup is available at selected locations by arrangement.
